Role Overview

The Managing Director will lead the company’s commercial and operational agenda, converting brand partnerships and channel reach into profitable growth while professionalizing planning, supply chain, and talent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own consolidated P&L and category performance across electronics and FMCG lines.
• Lead annual joint business plans with principal brands and renegotiate key mandates.
• Direct channel strategy across modern trade, e-commerce, and general trade.
• Oversee supply chain, warehousing, and working-capital efficiency.
• Drive digital commerce: marketplaces, direct-to-consumer pilots, and trade digitization.
• Expand into adjacent categories and territories with disciplined investment cases.
• Strengthen the senior team through succession and capability building.
• Represent the company with principals, banks, regulators, and industry bodies.

Requirements:

• 15+ years in consumer distribution, with 5+ in a Managing Director or country head role.
• Proven P&L delivery in multi-category, multi-channel distribution businesses.
• Deep ASEAN market knowledge; Malaysia-based or regional experience essential.
• Strong principal and key-account management credentials with global brands.
• Working knowledge of supply chain economics and working-capital cycles.
• Degree in business or economics; MBA preferred.
• Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia; strong leadership communication.
