Role Overview

The General Manager will own the site’s end-to-end performance, leading production, quality, engineering, and the commercial interface with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own site P&L, output, and cost-per-unit performance.
• Lead production, quality, engineering, and supply chain.
• Deliver capacity projects on time and to standard.
• Ensure food safety, halal integrity, and audit readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement and equipment effectiveness.
• Own customer and auditor relationships.
• Plan workforce, shifts, and skills development.
• Launch new products with commercial teams.

Requirements:

• 15+ years in food manufacturing, with 5+ as plant or site leader.
• Proven P&L and capacity-project delivery.
• Food-safety and halal certification experience.
• Strong continuous-improvement credentials.
• Kuala Lumpur or Penang corridor; site-based.
• Degree in food science or engineering.
• Bahasa Malaysia and English; floor-level credibility.
