Role Overview

The Country Director will hold full responsibility for the Malaysian business, leading safety, delivery, and growth across operations, projects, and new energy services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own country P&L, safety, and delivery performance.
• Lead operations, projects, and commercial teams.
• Grow maintenance and project backlog with key clients.
• Develop new energy services: solar, efficiency, and grid support.
• Manage client and regulator relationships nationwide.
• Drive local talent development and vendor capability.
• Ensure compliance, quality, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with the regional group on strategy and standards.

Requirements:

• 15+ years in energy or engineering services, with 5+ in country leadership.
• Proven P&L and safety leadership in Malaysia or comparable markets.
• Strong client credentials in power, oil and gas, or industry.
• Exposure to renewable and energy-efficiency businesses.
• Degree in engineering; chartered status preferred.
• Kuala Lumpur based or ready to relocate; travel nationwide.
• Bahasa Malaysia and English; decisive operational leadership.
