Role Overview

The Head of Department (Finance & Legal) will head the finance and legal department, owning its service quality, people, and the controls the group depends on.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance and legal team across the group.
• Own group reporting, consolidation, and audit cycles.
• Run treasury, tax, and statutory compliance.
• Manage legal affairs, contracts, and company secretarial duties.
• Improve systems: enterprise resource planning, reporting, and document management.
• Support operating companies with commercial finance.
• Drive process standardization across the group.
• Develop the department’s talent and succession.

Requirements:

• 12+ years in finance, with 5+ heading a department or function.
• Group reporting and audit experience under IFRS.
• Exposure to legal and company secretarial work.
• UAE or GCC market experience preferred.
• Recognized accounting qualification; degree in finance or accounting.
• Dubai-based; hybrid arrangements.
• Meticulous, calm, and service-minded.
