Role Overview

The Country Director will own the UAE business end-to-end, driving commercial growth, bank and partner relationships, and regulatory positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own UAE revenue, activation, and market-share targets.
• Lead commercial, operations, and support teams locally.
• Develop bank, merchant, and enterprise partnerships.
• Manage regulatory relationships and licensing obligations.
• Drive product-market fit for consumer and merchant offers.
• Build the local team and Emirati talent pipelines.
• Coordinate regional expansion from the UAE base.
• Own the brand’s reputation and market presence.

Requirements:

• 12+ years in fintech, payments, or digital financial services.
• P&L leadership in a regulated financial market.
• Established relationships with UAE banks and regulators.
• Experience scaling consumer or merchant products.
• Degree in business, finance, or technology; MBA a plus.
• Dubai-based or ready to relocate.
• English fluency; Arabic an advantage; sharp commercial instincts.
