About the Client:
A global petrochemical group specializing in trading and manufacturing a diverse range of coating products, including paints and wood coatings. The company has a strong market presence and is seeking a strategic financial leader to optimize its financial management and drive long-term growth.
Role Overview:
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, cash flow management, and overall fiscal health of the organization. You will collaborate with executive leadership to align financial operations with business objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and optimizing capital structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s long-term vision.
- Work closely with the CEO, GM, and COO to coordinate financial planning and budgeting.
- Assess macro and microeconomic factors impacting financial decisions.
- Cash Flow & Liquidity Management:
- Prepare and regularly update cash flow forecasts on a daily/weekly basis.
- Ensure proper management of cash, payroll taxes, salaries, and VAT payments.
- Allocate funds efficiently based on operational priorities.
- Financial Oversight & Compliance:
- Monitor the Group’s financial position, capital structure, and compliance with banking covenants.
- Oversee supplier payments, prioritizing based on operational needs and cash flow.
- Manage financial risks, hedging strategies, and regulatory adherence.
- Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Implement cost optimization initiatives without compromising operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. CA / CPA qualification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of financial management experience, preferably in paints manufacturing, petrochemical, or wood coating industries.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and capital management in the UAE.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead finance teams, implement strategic financial plans, and influence business growth.
- Language: Open to Arabic and European nationalities. Fluency in English is essential.
