Accounts Payable Manager
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Manager to oversee financial transactions, vendor relations, and billing processes. This role involves ensuring accuracy in banking transactions, managing vendor invoices, and coordinating with internal teams to maintain compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Oversight: Supervise daily banking transactions, authorize payments, and oversee receipt postings.
- Invoice & Expense Management: Process vendor invoices, check requests, and credit card transactions, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
- Client & Vendor Relations: Maintain professional communication with internal and external clients.
- Billing & Collections: Collaborate with billing and collections teams to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Team Leadership: Manage and guide the accounts payable team, ensuring accuracy in financial operations.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve vendor billing issues while ensuring timely reporting to management.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices for improved financial operations.
- System & Vendor Management: Monitor financial statements, review bank activity, and troubleshoot voucher issues.
- Financial Reporting & Audits: Maintain cash flow records and provide required documentation for annual audits.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, financial controls, and accounting principles.
- Experience in banking platforms and vendor relations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in legal accounting or law firm finance.
- Knowledge of 3E Legal System and Chrome River software.
