About the Role

As a Revenue Senior Accountant, you will oversee key revenue functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, financial analysis, and process improvements. You’ll collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Financial Systems teams to assess and implement system changes that impact revenue processes. This is a high-impact role within a dynamic, growth-oriented company.

Key Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end revenue close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation across multiple payment processors and investigate revenue discrepancies.
• Analyze revenue-related estimates, including deferred revenue, gift cards, subscriptions, and loyalty programs.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for system updates impacting revenue recognition.
• Manage the unclaimed property process for gift card escheatment.
• Enhance accounting policies, internal controls (SOX compliance), and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Engineering, and Operations to refine revenue-related processes.
• Prepare audit schedules and support quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
• Assist with internal financial reporting to drive strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis.
• 3-4+ years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably with a mix of public accounting and in-house experience.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition and GAAP principles.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial software, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting; Oracle GL experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• High ethical standards and personal integrity.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $81,600 – $120,000 (based on experience and location).
