Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, account reconciliation, and transaction management. This role ensures the accuracy of financial records and supports key processes such as budgeting, audits, and year-end closings. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports by summarizing account information and trends.
• Ensure accurate financial transactions by auditing and verifying supporting documentation.
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain financial security by implementing and enforcing internal controls.
• Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support year-end reporting, including audits, valuations, and tax filings.
• Document financial transactions and maintain up-to-date records.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
• Stay informed on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Continuously seek process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience in a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial software such as Sage Intacct is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong attention to detail.
