Job Overview:
Angle Health is expanding its finance and accounting team and is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in managing financial operations. This role includes overseeing financial reporting, account reconciliations, and compliance with GAAP standards. You will also support budgeting, forecasting, and tax preparation, ensuring the company’s financial processes are efficient and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the general ledger, post journal entries, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring smooth operations.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
- Work on financial process improvements and support audits.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tax filings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- 4+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in startups or the insurance industry is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
- $110,000 – $130,000 per year (based on experience and location).
