Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier payments. This role involves overseeing the AP team, maintaining internal controls, and collaborating with multiple departments to optimize financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, and delegation.
- Oversee supplier payments and collaborate with procurement teams.
- Work closely with Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Membership, Marketing, and other departments.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist in deploying and managing fraud prevention systems.
- Regularly interact with senior management to provide AP insights.
- Approve journal entries, reconciliations, and oversee the month-end closing process.
- Conduct quarterly related-party reviews and update AP policies as needed.
- Develop and manage the escheatment process.
- Co-lead weekly global AP meetings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading or managing an AP team.
- Hands-on experience with Workday is required.
- Strong decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
