Job Description:

ZTE Omni Trucking is seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the company’s information technology strategy, systems, and infrastructure. The CIO will be responsible for ensuring that ZTE Omni Trucking’s IT systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with the company’s business goals. This senior leadership role will collaborate with the executive team to drive digital transformation, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth through innovative IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy & Vision: Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy to support business objectives and growth. Ensure IT initiatives are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and are driving value across the organization.
• IT Infrastructure & Operations: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and other critical technology systems. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of all IT systems.
• Digital Transformation: Lead efforts to digitally transform the business by adopting and implementing new technologies that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and business agility.
• Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Ensure that the company’s IT systems and data are secure, compliant with industry regulations, and protected from cyber threats. Develop and maintain policies for data privacy, security, and disaster recovery.
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage the IT department, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the IT team.
• Collaboration with Executive Leadership: Work closely with the CEO, COO, and other C-suite executives to integrate IT solutions into business strategies and drive overall business performance. Provide regular updates and reports on IT initiatives to the executive team.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external technology vendors, service providers, and consultants. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• IT Budgeting & Resource Allocation: Develop and manage the IT department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while delivering high-impact technology solutions.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT performance and track progress toward meeting business goals. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on IT projects, performance, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in IT management or digital transformation is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar industry is preferred.
• Skills:
• Proven experience in leading technology teams and managing complex IT systems and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of IT security, data protection, cloud computing, and enterprise software solutions.
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives and technology adoption to drive business growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage competing priorities.

Pay: $149,693.00 – $167,261.00 per year
