About the Role

As the CFO, you will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board, responsible for shaping and executing financial strategies that support the company’s ambitious growth. You will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, manage capital structures, and drive digital finance transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with HJ Group’s growth objectives.
• Partner with executive leadership to guide business decisions using financial insights and analytics.
• Establish financial policies and governance frameworks to ensure fiscal responsibility and operational excellence.

Financial Operations & Compliance

• Oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, IFRS standards, and corporate governance best practices.
• Manage audits, internal controls, and financial risk assessments.

Capital Management & Fundraising

• Design and maintain optimal capital structures to support business expansion and sustainability.
• Lead negotiations with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure funding and manage debt.
• Enhance investor relations and ensure effective financial reporting for stakeholders.

Risk Management & Internal Controls

• Implement robust financial risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct financial due diligence and ensure legal compliance across all business units.
• Oversee enterprise risk assessments to anticipate and mitigate financial threats.

Digital Transformation & Process Optimization

• Spearhead digital transformation initiatives within the finance function, leveraging AI, automation, and ERP systems.
• Optimize financial processes for scalability, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure seamless integration of technology for real-time financial analysis and strategic insights.

Mergers, Acquisitions & Growth Initiatives

• Lead financial modeling, valuations, and strategic decision-making for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities to drive long-term profitability.
• Oversee integration processes for newly acquired businesses to ensure smooth financial transition.

Team Leadership & Development

• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team across diverse industries.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strategic financial leadership.
• Implement best practices to enhance the team’s technical and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / ACCA qualification is required.
• 20+ years of financial leadership experience, with at least 8 years as a CFO or senior finance executive.
• Expertise in multi-industry financial management, particularly in Real Estate, F&B, Facility Management, Hospitality, or Services.
• Strong background in financial modeling, capital raising, and mergers & acquisitions.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE financial regulations, IFRS standards, and international financial practices.
• Experience leading finance digitalization initiatives, including ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), AI, and automation.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and operational expertise with excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with investors, board members, and executive teams.
