Overview

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management, automation, and sustainable technology, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive market expansion, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth. As the company continues to pioneer smart energy solutions and industrial automation, this role will focus on identifying new business opportunities and strengthening key industry relationships.

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, technology-driven business expansion, and market analysis. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of renewable energy, IoT-enabled automation, and sustainability trends. Working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams, the Business Development Manager will lead initiatives that drive growth in emerging and existing markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand Schneider Electric’s market share in energy management and automation.

  • Lead business negotiations, deal structuring, and market expansion projects.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and trend forecasting to inform business strategies.
  • Work with sales, engineering, and operations teams to align product offerings with business opportunities.
  • Manage and drive a business pipeline, from opportunity identification to deal closure.
  • Stay updated on sustainability regulations, smart grid advancements, and industrial automation trends.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or energy sector partnerships.
  • Strong ability to develop and manage complex business relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in energy management, industrial automation, or smart infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth and securing large-scale contracts.
  • Deep knowledge of IoT, digital transformation, and energy efficiency technologies.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
