Position Overview
As an Accounting Supervisor, you will oversee accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), compliance, and month-end reporting while mentoring a remote team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in transactional accounting and a passion for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
📌 Accounts Receivable (AR) Management – Oversee invoicing, collections, customer relationships, and vendor packets.
📌 Accounts Payable (AP) Management – Manage invoice processing, expense reporting, vendor reconciliations, and credit card transactions.
📌 Compliance Oversight – Maintain state filing compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
📌 Month-End Close & Reporting – Prepare reconciliations, manage AR/AP close activities, and support financial reporting.
📌 Payroll Support – Cross-train in U.S. & Canadian payroll processing.
📌 Team Leadership – Guide, mentor, and support a remote accounting team.
What You Need
✔ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
✔ 5+ years of accounting experience (2+ years in a supervisory role).
✔ Experience managing a remote workforce.
✔ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QBO, Maxio, and Paylocity preferred.
✔ Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
✔ Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
