📍 Remote Role | Travel Required for Business Needs
Role Overview
As an Accounting Revenue Manager, you will lead revenue recognition and financial operations across 50+ clubs, ensuring accuracy, compliance (ASC 606), and efficiency. You’ll oversee club membership dues, revenue systems, and audits, working closely with regional leads, club directors, and FP&A teams.
Key Responsibilities
📊 Revenue Recognition & Compliance – Manage revenue processes, reconciliations, and P&L impact across multiple clubs.
📅 Month-End Close – Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, A/R, and deferred balances.
⚙ Process Optimization – Automate revenue accounting systems for better data flow and accuracy.
📑 Audit & Risk Management – Maintain SOPs, internal controls, and audit readiness.
📈 Leadership & Collaboration – Mentor a Staff Accountant, work with cross-functional teams on revenue-related matters.
🏗 M&A Support – Act as Revenue SME for M&A targets and onboarding.
What You Need
✔ 7+ years in accounting (revenue recognition focus).
✔ Deep knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606).
✔ Experience with GL reconciliations, internal controls, and revenue systems.
✔ Strong Excel skills & data flow assessments.
✔ Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment (startup experience is a plus).
✔ NetSuite experience preferred.
✔ Sports industry experience is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
💵 $80,000 – $95,000 annual base salary
