Job Overview
A leading company in the UAE is seeking a skilled Accounting & Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, tax compliance, payroll management, and reporting. This role requires expertise in multicurrency transactions, VAT regulations, and financial risk management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate financial reporting, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Policy Development
✔ Develop and implement accounting and tax policies tailored to business needs.
✔ Ensure financial procedures align with UAE accounting regulations and best practices.
Accounting & Reporting
✔ Oversee financial and tax accounting operations across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
✔ Prepare and present financial reports, including P&L statements, cash flow reports, and balance sheets.
Payroll & Employee Benefits Management
✔ Supervise Wage Protection System (WPS) payroll processes.
✔ Collaborate with HR to manage employee benefits and deductions.
Tax Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
✔ Ensure accurate VAT filing and full compliance with UAE tax laws.
✔ Manage financial records and support internal and external audits.
Multicurrency Transactions & Financial Adjustments
✔ Handle transactions in multiple currencies (USD, AED, SAR, QAR).
✔ Ensure correct exchange rate adjustments and financial accuracy.
Approval & Financial Control
✔ Review and approve financial transactions prepared by the Finance Coordinator.
✔ Oversee payments and financial approvals in collaboration with the CFO.
Debt & Credit Management
✔ Monitor accounts receivable and payable to maintain a healthy cash flow.
✔ Prepare detailed financial reports on outstanding receivables and payables.
Compliance & Risk Management
✔ Ensure full compliance with local and international financial regulations.
✔ Implement financial risk management strategies to mitigate regulatory risks.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
✔ 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the UAE.
✔ Strong knowledge of VAT laws, WPS payroll systems, and UAE financial regulations.
✔ Proficiency in multicurrency transactions and exchange rate management.
✔ Expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and regulatory compliance.
✔ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and risk management skills.
✔ Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
