Job Overview
IBM is hiring an Account Manager to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise IT solutions. This role requires a strategic mindset, consultative sales skills, and experience in managing key accounts in the technology sector. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high retention rates.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ business challenges and recommending IBM solutions.
- Conduct regular client meetings to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive account expansion by identifying new business opportunities and optimizing existing client partnerships.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to design and implement tailored IT and cloud solutions.
- Negotiate and close high-value enterprise deals, ensuring alignment with IBM’s business goals.
Strategic Account Planning
- Develop account management strategies to maximize revenue from key clients.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approaches.
- Provide regular reports on account performance, forecasts, and key client insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Ensure seamless service delivery and customer success, addressing any concerns proactively.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and IBM’s evolving product portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
✔ 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development in the tech industry.
✔ Proven ability to manage enterprise-level clients and close high-value deals.
✔ Strong knowledge of cloud computing, AI solutions, and enterprise IT services.
✔ Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
✔ Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
✔ Experience working in B2B technology sales within the Middle East market.
