Role Overview

The Executive Director will head the secretariat, driving member growth, policy advocacy, events, and trade services while strengthening the association’s financial base and international network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the secretariat and deliver the board-approved strategic plan.
• Grow membership, retention, and member engagement across segments.
• Drive policy advocacy with government counterparts on trade and regulation.
• Expand trade services: market intelligence, matchmaking, and business missions.
• Oversee the events portfolio, from forums to large-scale exhibitions.
• Diversify revenues through commercial services and partnerships.
• Build relationships with sister chambers and international partners.
• Ensure financial discipline, governance, and reporting to the board.

Requirements:

• 12+ years in association, chamber, or membership-body leadership.
• Proven growth in membership, revenue, and member engagement.
• Experience engaging government stakeholders on policy and trade matters.
• Strong events, partnerships, and business-development instincts.
• Regional network across the GCC; UAE experience preferred.
• Degree in business, economics, or public policy; master’s preferred.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication; public-speaking confidence.
