Role Overview

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will own the company’s technical vision, AI strategy, and platform engineering. Reporting to the CEO, the CTO will guide research-to-production pipelines, platform reliability at scale, and the engineering culture that keeps the company ahead in a fast-moving field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the long-term technical vision and architecture for the AI and data platform.
• Lead research, engineering, and data teams spanning model development, MLOps, and platform services.
• Own the roadmap from research prototypes to production-grade, enterprise-ready capabilities.
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency across large customer workloads.
• Establish AI governance, model evaluation, and responsible-AI practices suitable for regulated customers.
• Partner with the CEO and CPO on product strategy, roadmap trade-offs, and customer engagements.
• Represent the company’s technology with customers, analysts, and at industry events.
• Drive build-vs-buy decisions and the vendor strategy for models, tooling, and infrastructure.
• Recruit and retain exceptional engineering and research talent in a competitive market.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of engineering leadership, including executive roles in AI, data, or platform companies.
• Deep technical credibility in machine-learning systems, data infrastructure, and MLOps.
• Experience taking AI products from research to enterprise production at scale.
• Strong cloud and distributed-systems architecture background.
• Track record of leading distributed, remote-first engineering organizations.
• Excellent communication with customers, boards, and technical communities.
• Degree in computer science or a related field; PhD or master’s preferred.
