Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will own finance, accounting, legal, and corporate operations. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will lead financial planning and analysis, capital strategy, board and investor reporting, and the systems and talent that keep the company’s growth disciplined. The role is remote within the United States and includes up to 25% travel for board meetings, investor events, and team gatherings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own company-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics.
• Lead fundraising strategy and investor relations, from growth rounds to future public-market readiness.
• Partner with the CEO on corporate strategy, pricing, and expansion decisions.
• Oversee accounting operations, reporting, tax, audit, and internal controls.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, and capital allocation across the business.
• Own board materials and financial communications with clarity and rigour.
• Oversee legal, corporate development, and corporate-services functions.
• Build and mentor a high-performing, remote-friendly finance organization.
• Ensure systems and data infrastructure support decision-making at scale.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including executive roles in technology companies.
• Experience as CFO, or a clear deputy-CFO ready to step up, at a venture- or growth-backed company.
• Track record leading or closely supporting successful fundraising processes.
• Deep expertise in SaaS or recurring-revenue economics and metrics.
• Strong communication skills with boards and investors.
• Accounting or finance qualification (CPA preferred) plus relevant degree.
• Comfort operating remotely with periodic travel of up to 25%.
