Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will own all financial functions for the group, including controlling, treasury, budgeting, and commercial finance. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role in Doha, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, focused on strengthening unit economics, funding expansion, and building a finance function that scales with the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the group’s financial strategy, planning cycles, and performance management.
• Strengthen restaurant-level unit economics, including food-cost, labour-cost, and occupancy analysis by brand and location.
• Lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans with brand and operations leaders.
• Oversee treasury, banking relationships, and cash management across entities.
• Manage capex programmes for new locations, refurbishments, and central kitchen capacity.
• Build commercial finance support for menu engineering, pricing, and promotional decisions.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with Qatari regulations and tax requirements.
• Support franchise agreements, joint ventures, and new-market entry assessments.
• Develop and mentor the finance team, raising analytical capability across the business.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of finance experience with at least 5 in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong background in F&B, restaurants, retail, or hospitality multi-site operations.
• Deep expertise in unit economics, cost control, and multi-site performance management.
• Experience with capex planning for site expansion and food-production facilities.
• Knowledge of Qatari or GCC regulatory, tax, and licensing requirements.
• Hands-on leadership style suited to a founder-led, fast-moving business.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA, CA, ACCA, or CFA preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Doha with presence across locations.
