Role Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead the group’s overall strategy, portfolio performance, and new-venture pipeline. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will allocate capital across ventures, represent the group with investors and partners, and ensure each portfolio company has the leadership and resources to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the group’s investment and venture-building strategy across Southeast Asia’s digital economy.
• Lead capital allocation across the portfolio, balancing new launches, scale-ups, and exits.
• Own overall portfolio performance against revenue, valuation, and return targets.
• Build relationships with limited partners, corporates, government agencies, and regional investors.
• Guide CEO and founding teams within portfolio companies through governance and mentoring.
• Spearhead the identification and incubation of new venture opportunities.
• Champion a strong talent brand for the group and its portfolio across the region.
• Ensure robust governance, reporting, and compliance across all entities and jurisdictions.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in technology leadership, venture building, investment, or top-tier consulting.
• Proven P&L or portfolio leadership with demonstrable value creation in digital businesses.
• Strong network across Southeast Asia’s tech, investor, and corporate ecosystems.
• Experience structuring deals, joint ventures, and partnerships.
• Excellent judgment in evaluating founders, markets, and business models.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently across ASEAN markets.
